Has anyone ever wondered what might happen if untruths both large and small continue to be used by people to sell shit, perhaps in diabolical ways, and "increase engagement"? Actually, several have, years ago. And now we're close to living that dystopia, on which I comment in this Episode 284: Bath Bombing the Internet.



In this episode, I related or recalled: a video about fake ASoL bath bomb ads (shown above, hopefully); two books by Neil Stephenson; and a thing on Reddit called the Dead Humanity Theory. I read from: portions of one article and three academic papers concerning the Dead Internet Theory.
