Play Now!In this Episode 158: From a Crawl to a Walk, I share a discovery that is more than simply monumental and epic in its own right, it's oxymoronic: a Walkable Crawlspace.
I thoroughly enjoyed the diversion. I can't speak for other listeners, but for my part, I feel like your little break was well-deserved and the diversion into the vagaries of home construction was entertaining!
I have to say the number of people who were momentarily stunned when I told of my neighbor offering to turn on lights in a crawlspace clinched for me the entertainment value of the whole sordid tale.
Next project: a remodel of the remodeling equipment. Originally, I built a crane (really, an ATV winch mounted to a base-hinged boom arm, with an old wheelbarrow hub as a cable pulley).
That got taken apart, when my winch failed spectacularly, about the time I also saw a buddy's system doing a very similar thing. Next, expect the repaired winch directly overhead, traveling horizontally on a barn door mount.
